is this shocking to anyone else. I won't swear its real but it seems pretty real since it was in US News. This raises a whole bunch of questions. How will soceity embrace or reject something like this.

Will it lower the value of women?

Will it open doors for homosexual couples?

How do you treat a pregnant man?

How will religious ppl feel about such a breakthrough?

Will it benefit our society at all?

It's impossible.. Males just don't have the anatomy for it.

imo, its both good n bad.
good for homosexual couples to have the opportunity to actually "have" their
own babies, bad for the religious people that believe that women should have em.

edit: i got more thoughts on the impact on society.. but im tired so i kept it simple

They're also doing research for asexual women, soon humans will be like trees, but since we're the only race to have sex for fun anyways, we'll still need men and women.

About the science:

It's actually very interesting that they would mention hemorrhage as that was the first thing I though of. Women through pregnancy develop to prepare them for pregnacy. (Most obvious being wider hips) I'm surprised the body did not react critically to the rise in estrogen and gonadotropin. Similarly it was weird that the body did not attack the placenta and kill the baby.

Also, the info is scarce, seems a little fake.

LOL THIS IS A HOAX! me and my classmates have already seen this site before. my teacher sia dit was a hoax and my science teacher siad it is impossible, we males do not have the organs or the ability to do it. i know how they did it but it is impossible.

It's a hoax. The linked articles aren't even related. There's one about seahorses, and the US News one is hosted off the same site as the hospital -.-

I think it's a really cool experiment into sociology though.
