Well my computer is getting old now and its not running some of the things i'm wanting it to run such as BF2142 and other games i have been trying to play recently.

My Video Card:
Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller
Processor:
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz

Memory:
766MB RAM

Hard Drive:
126 GB

I'm planning on getting a new motherboard, a new video card and More RAM/Memory. So can anyone reccomend some good motherboards, video cards and how much RAM/Memory to get? Along with the sites and it would be much appreciated.

Thanks :D

Well...

If you're going to get a new motherboard, you're going to need to get a new processor and ram. The ram you have now is DDR1, and won't work with new motherboards. The processor you have now will only fit in older motherboards.

TBH you won't see a boost in performance from a motherboard upgrade, you will see one from a processor + ram upgrade. If you get decent motherboard, than the integrated gfx card should be fine to run any game on low-medium settings, assuming you tweaked it. This saves money, and allows you to save up cash to buy a great video card when you find a good deal.
