You tried to upload it direct from your PC.... I do it all the times because direct link wont work sometimes?

Right click > copy image location > paste in avatar URL.

the pict on avatar cant ber not ovwr 100X100 and is no matter if is jpg or gif or the other thing and yeA better you rty upload it direct from your PC like lana said.
