I don't know if it's been posted before, if it is, then you can delete this.

You know everyone with MSN 7.5 or below recently got a message saying they have to upgrade to MSN live messenger, which i hate and i know a lot of other people hate it as well. It's laggy and eating my slow laptop's performance.

The way to get MSN 7.5 back:
- Install MSN 7.5 normally
- Goto C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger
- Rightclick the msnmsgr.exe, goto compatibility tab and select Windows 2000

Login and have fun :D

Only "bug" is the pixely MSN icon in your tray. :)

I'll try it in a while, if it works for me too I can finally get rid of that ******* live messenger. It's signing me out every 3 minutes and pissing me off =.=

Does it kill your computer with the lag? :?

For the people with a little lower spec computers/laptop like myself it does make a performance hit, for example trying to scroll down the list of contacts i have in MSN live messenger, it lags like hell.

And i just like the way 7.5 looks, it doesn't have to be all flashy like MSN live.

But whatever floats your boat, i'm not here telling you to go on 7.5.
