...Computers are used to make Xbox games...

Computers with video rendering software need extreme hardware. Computers will always be better than consoles. The high end ones of course.

In computing power alone no comp. can pass the potential power of the 360, of course if there were more than one computer, like if you used a rendering farm for games, then a comp has the potential to surpass a 360.

this is untrue when it comes to games as consoles can dedicate all of the computing power on the game ... not to mention the game is being run from a disc instead of the hard drive

also game producers are focusing on optimizing the game performance for consoles rather than computers ... this is also a big reason why consoles run games faster and sometimes with better graphics

I have to agree and disagree at the same time.

Right now, computers have the better software. However, it seems like consoles are catching up, and could be better. The only question is that if thats so, dont you have to make a game with a computer?

Of course computers are better, but all computers are different. For xbox its all the same, theres no better xbox than the original.

Put it this way, the second any console is released PC's automatically outclass them. All consoles are are customized and standardized PC's. Every bit of technology released in consoles these days most likely originated in a PC role. Therefore, as soon as consoles hit the market newer and better hardware is being made for PC's, while consoles are forced to stay at the same performance as the day they were released.

Got in a argument with a noob on GTAMP about this saying the Xbox had better graphics than a PC, i asked what did he have a Dell with onboard and he shutup.

to get a pc with the same graphics as a 360, u'll need to pay ~€1000/$1000
you only pay like €279 ( here in the Netherlands ) to get the core pack xbox.

sorry to say this but comp>console for the main reason console is a non upgradable computer well internally externally you can do what you want, maybe the 360 might have been a good console better then most computers at the time of its release but now its not, pc games have always been more advance then console enough said?

omg i don't even understand why ppl are comparing PC with xbox360 ... xbox 360 is purely a gaming console with some crap internet features added and some video and audio playback on the side ... i can't think of 1 person that actually uses their xbox or any other kind of gaming console for anything else other than gaming

i dont know much about xbox 360 but im sure that a pc is much better than it...ps3 is pretty good...but xbox dont have a chance(that what my brother say)

Computers are used to CREATE console games. How anyone can say that consoles have more computing power or better graphics, etc, is beyond me.

Maybe the console is faster/better/has more graphics than YOUR computer.
