The laptop is only 7 inches but it is light as hell and it uses flash memory. I personally like it. It costs about the same price as a really nice portable DVD player.

negative.

It's like the technological notebook. Unlike a "notebook laptop", it's a pen and paper in a virtual world. I would love to be able to take all my notes down in that. Having to carry around a laptop, suffer with loading screens, pop ups, battery issues, etc. gets really annoying.

I want something small that i'm able to just turn on and write.

After further investigation, it doesn't seem to be worth it.

Models: 700-C / 700 / 701 / 701-6

700-C: 2GB, 256MB DDR-2, no camera, 2cell battery, no wifi, wired ethernet, 56k modem, $199 price (they also say this model will be available on tender only…)

700: 2GB, 256MB DDR-2, no camera, 4cell battery, wifi, wired ethernet, no modem, $239

701: 4GB, 512MB DDR-2, camera, 4cell battery, wifi, wired ethernet, no modem, $299

701-6: 6GB, 512MB DDR-2, camera, 4cell battery, wifi, wired ethernet, no modem, $399

The 700-C version does not have Wi-Fi so that basically isn't even an option. The one with Wi-Fi is close around $250 with taxes. I guess I you really want it, go for it but it is kind of pricey when you think about it in terms of minimal computing. Add another $100 and you can get yourself this ---> http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?s ... caid=17653
