Hi I bought a copy of Guild Wars because it was on half price, lol.....

anyway, i've want to ask ppl out there a question. i know there are two different mode you can play 1st a story mode, and the other one is PVP mode.

however, i notice you cannot use the same char on both modes. let's say i've been playing the story mode char, got him up to lvl 20, and then i feel like to do some pvp, i actually need to relog and create a new pvp char and pvp other player with a lvl 1 char......

that is something i don't really get.

Yeah, it's kinda dumb.

But you can get to level 20 in like a day, the story mode is good to start with because you can learn how to play the game, but it's best not to get attached to your character.

I actually don't have guild wars, but this is what my friend says about it

you cant use pvp toon in pve. but you can use pve toon on pvp side, I think u need to get to lvl 20 first, it have changed and I never pvped with non 20 char your pve char will have no advantage over pvp char it use to have some about equipment but now it's just about the skin you have there is no more special item you can get from pve, well not that much.

i recommend you to do the pve first so you can learn the game mechanic learn skills and unlock stuff so it'll be easier to start in pvp

you can pvp with a roleplaying character. just get to lvl20 then go to battle isle or whatever its called.

Yeah, you have to teleport your pve char to the pvp place. I don't think you have to be 20, but it's really retarded when you're not and you're whole team will probably leave.

oh, cool, i didn't know that i can use my pve char to go pvp.....

so i ended up go back on sro.....lol

may be if i have time i will go back on guild wars.......during server inspection i think.......^^

But i'll probably still get it because i love the interface, its simple and very clear

oh yeah pvp isle forget to tell about it ^^ but I cant remember what is required to unlock those pvp arena, I know u need consecutive victory in some place, well check http://www.guildwiki.org

k gws super great pvp but its hard to master...pve fun to alot of ppl boring to me but pvp like guild wars and heroes ascent awesome and i recomend u getting atleast 2 other titles so they wont call u noob...need the skills

Pvp takes a lot more skill than sro, which also makes it a lot more fun.

lulz even rank 9+ in ha is still nub... I usually dont ha if im not with people i know, pug are horrible...
