Has anyone ever heard/used this program?

Think - LAN but over the internet.

Me and some friends are starting up a server here to play DOTA/CS n other games.

Oh ham and cheese. yeah, milly would talk about playing DotA on it before. One of these days I'll have to get back into Warcraft 3. Good old days.

Well, if milly uses it then im cool with it.

Just for your safety, using hamachi makes you VERY vulnerable o hackers, even if you use a firewall, hamachi opens holes, and other things making it very easy for someone to get access to your computer, that is why ive never used it since i found this out - The hard way

I know, it's kinda scary... but i dono... just to play with my friends.

Yeah, DotA is Defense of the Ancients.

It's a map for Warcraft III that has become more or just as popular than the normal game itself.

Kinda like Counter Strike. Most people dono that it really started as a Mod of the original Half Life.

Sooo nyaa... Although DotA hasnt become an official stand alone game just yet, there has been interest to buy the "DotA" rights from Warcraft and turn it into a game.

I use it all the time. Great program.

I used it with Age of Empires 2, didnt work

Yes I used it.. For when the newest Quake came out. Was fun to play it with a lot of people all using Hamachi Really great time

i like Luna i only hate her ultimate skill its very long to cool down but very insane damage...

i like bounty hunter cause they he can tank and run fast... he goes faster when he is using sange and yasha + ultimate skill

i dont usually use bloodseeker... its hard to understand its skill... but its lastor ultimate skill is pwnage ...

Hamachi is a GREAT program, i used it like everyday back in the day when i used to play my cousin in wc3.

You can make a lan server/room, and whoever is in your hamachi channel can see that room.

So basicly..as keyj said LAN OVER THE INTERNET (greatest invention EVAR)

Q: But theres servers on the internet, why would you need to do this?
A: Because on some games..such as WC3 and the CS series, you cant host an internet room, but you can do it in lan where your friends can see if they are using hamachi with you
