How do you die from a parked car?

So, a friend/classmate passed away in July 26 because he was skateboarding and he tripped. He was in critical condition, but what I didn't know that he died from a parked car.
I refused to believe that, how hard do you have to hit your head on the car in order to die like that?

He was skating and all of a sudden he hit his head on a parked car and I think knocked him out and at the hospital he died after surgery on his head.

fell off skateboard, hit his head, internal bleeding and swelling lead to brain dysfunction and he died.

Aww thats so scary
and very sad! Maybe it was complications in surgery that caused him to actually pass away. What a sad story

Sorry to hear that.
A friend of mine got hit by a car while it was backing up and now he has a chipped tooth (but now its fixed, i tried to convince him to get a glow in the dark one, but he didnt lol)
Your friend must have hit the car HARD.

July 26?! Thats my birthday =/, well can you believe this? A friends friend dad had his nose broken from a paper airplane... I dont know how thats possible but it happend..

/sigh so many jokes can fill this space.
If your skateboarding and hit a car with your lower body, that would propel your upper body in an arc straight down, now to land on your head with full contact is very difficult as your first reflex is to stretch out your hands, even without you have ribs and such, but I guess he was unlucky.

A lot of skaters are hit by a parked car because they usually go to parking lots to do some skating..

Sorry for your lost
If it helps you to find some peace over the incident: sufficient trauma to the head at an angle can create sheering forces that may lead to tearing of the brain layers, leading to profuse internal bleeding (subdural hematoma). (Just assuming your friend has a normal medical history). Depending on the time delay to get to the operating table, it may have done extensive damage (via bleeding alone) that surgery could do little to help .
