Does anyone know if this game is gonna support directx 10 stuff? Lots of places say directx 10 isnt a requirement but they dont say it is not used at all. I want more directx10 games

, not only do they look better than directx9 they run smoother too, lol.

Still getting the demo either way though.

This game has been in development for a while so it doesn't have any dx10 features. Even the star dx10 game Crysis was shown days ago w/the dx9&10 versions side by side and gurus couldn't tell the difference.
Just be patient man, the tech is only a year old.

I guess i should really look at the controls before i play, i tried sticking a bomb to something i needed to destroy but couldnt figure out how to arm it :banghead:

hit all the damn buttons on the keyboard (died a few times in the process) before i realised you had to hold the detenator thingymabob on it for a while to arm it.

Then i tried getting in a vehicle, got half way through the keyboard before i hit the right key...

Inno: I had the same issues. First couple hrs I was basically deathmatching and had no clue as to the specifics. Look at the official site or just spend more time with it and you'll be fine.
The only thing I don't like about this game is that it comes out only days before TF2. HOW THE **** AM I SUPPOSE TO CHOOSE WHO I SPEND MY TIME WITH?!?

As much I loved UT, 2004 didn't do much for me and add the facts that I've played QW, love it, TF2 has been highly promoted and CoD4 just looks Farking awesome.
Of course I'll still d/l and see for myself though.

this game has so many bugs... especially video bugs ... im getting all sort of bad textures on my 1900GT

(... oh and the game actully froze after about 20 mins of playing)

Can't do it in XP, or at least my machine. It just brings up the task manager and doesn't allow you to scroll through the programs.
