My friend used to play Warhammer. I never got into it but it was definitely cool to see the detail in the miniatures. That new expansion looks pretty conventional compared to some of the things I've seen the armies use. It's got a little bit of a Star-Warsy, Starcrafty feel.

If I lived in a major city and had that much money to throw away I would've been on it a long time ago. Lore + strategy + figures = win.

The PC game was also pretty fun. The races/factions are pretty unique.

It would take me years to paint such a 1XX numbers of models box,
it already took me 1 year to paint my chaos defiler ><.

I've been an avid collector of Warhammer 40k for years.

I don't play though, despite having a local games workshop in town.

Waiting on Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning next year... will dominate the MMO market.

Not 40k but the classic ones :) Just collected and painted them. Didnt really had much of an army though.
