car crash

Ok, just a few minutes ago I was driving and crashed the car into a lamp post

now there is a big dent on the fender of the car

my dad is going to KILL me. My mom is angry about the money (which will probably amount to 3k she says)

whats sad is that I've crashed my first car even before getting a full license :banghead:

I have a level 1 license, which is something you can get when your 15. But to drive you must have an adult beside you and you can't drive at night. By the way, this is the driving system in michigan

somebody help me...

I have an oral report tomorrow and I think I'm gonna break down from the stress

Chill out man, don't let it affect school. Things will work out. Can your parents honestly that they never crashed a car?

But how the hell do you hit a light post T_T

Don't use your cell >_>

oh let me explain

I was talking to my mom and then decided to move my lunch box to the back seat (don't know why, must be an idiot)

when I looked up to drive, I hit the post

If your in michigan how the hell are you already in school?

There is a law that school couldn't start until today.
If you have an oral report the second day of school your life is going to suck once you get into it.

yea. things will work out. just go with the flow so they say. offcourse i dont
know how that works in america, but i cant imagine you are the first person
this happens too. keep us updated on how it goes. do make sure you got
your story right, dont try convince em you crashed because somebody tried
to cross the street on a bike with no light or sumthin.. just tell exactly what
happened n u should be fine. i guess the car is insured n they will cut you
some slack for being a youngster?

XYzizzy: this is the last year for michigan that school starts back in august. Next year, our district will begin school after labor day.

cin: my mom was with me, so she saw it happened. I'm scared, like seriously. What if the wheel pops off while I'm driving because there was something horribly wrong with the little crash?

what if the payment is like 6k or something and that costs me my college education?

seriously im starting to think crazy stuff

im scared shitless

Those of us who have messed up big time know that its not big deal.
Handle it one issue at a time :)

garage will have a look at it anyway if there is a dent in the car that you
want fixed. they will know if you can drive it or not. if you just hit it against
a pole, should be no prob. ive seen cars that had their whole side bent inwards
that could still drive ;)

Couple of minutes ago? You get in a car crash where either you or your mom could've been hurt, and the first thing you do is run to SRF to post about it? There are more priorities than your driving you need to straighten out.

Seeing as joking wont lighten you up, get a job, that would show your parents your sorry and would like to take responsibility for your actions.

Even if it's an hour, there are things he could do besides come cry to us about it. Maybe go get it towed? Call insurance or call his dad would be a good start.

ok im getting off

thanks for mentioning "procrastinate". Its something that i do very often

something which almost cost me my A in trig in 9th grade lol

about the crash

my dad said it was ok and he wouldn't yell at me

just told me that it was a good experience because it makes me more aware when im driving

he told me im lucky it didn't happen on the road where i could have slammed into some dudes car

so im guessing everythings fine now

but i still feel horrible
