High School Sports Chanting.

Since some of us are still in high school, I was wondering what chants you guys use. Our school doesn't have any funny ones because we had a really strict athletic director and our conference would get pissed if we said shit we actually wanted to say.

A funny one I heard on the radio today: It happened during a game between a small Catholic school and a small rural school in Central Illinois. The rural town's team name was the 'Zippers,' and the Catholic team was the 'Trojans.'

The Catholic crowd started to yell, "Down with the Zippers, on with the Trojans."

Another game in my area pitted a Catholic team vs a Public School. The Catholic team had a little statue of Jesus as a mascot of sorts. After repeated chanting by the Catholic school, one of the other school's fans went over and stole the Jesus statue.

They then proceded to chant, "We stole Jesus!"

They were funny to me I guess. We need new chants. Help please.

Well, ours is kinda different. In each game we go to, if its football, or basketball, or rugby or even swimming we always have this sort of drum line, but it doesnt even have to be drums we can use empty upside down Water Containers.

Anyway, we have 3 chants. 2 which have been for a long time, and the other which is newly created, but hasnt really been adopted by the other students yet.

1 of the 2 is as follows.
Bold is chant leader persay
Italic is the rest of the crowd.

Naga, Naga, Naga!
Naga, Naga, Naga!

Oi, Oi, Oi!
Oi, Oi, Oi!

Naga
Oi

Naga
Oi

Naga, Naga, Naga
Oi, Oi, Oi!

Naga btw is Indonesian for Dragons. Cookie if you can guess the Mascot is.

A 14,000 seat college arena dubbed as the loudest in the nation (yes even louder than Duke, N. Carolina, and Kansas). Gallagher-Iba arena, home to the Oklahoma State Cowboys, is the only arena in the nation that sells earplugs for the sensitive eared.

We simply divide the arena into the north and south ends and chant:

Orange!

Power!

But of course, only this video can do it justice:

We kinda just cheer in England, maybe clap our hands a bit and raise our arms when something good happens.

Don't really like the whole chanting stuff.

Hah one time me and my friends pulled out a 1-2 year old sandwich in his bag, then we decided to put it on the playground slide, because it was swquishy. As my friend was taking it out of the bag with latex gloves, we have discovered that it was in no shape or form of a sandwich anymore, but instead, it was some nasty green-ish coloured dust.
