I'm not a big fan of Halo but I don't like much of "Halo" either but I thought this was really kick ass.

well its not a fan movie....it was made by Weta to show that if they got to
make the halo movie that they could do it...and looking for that i think that
they can.

to show to the studio excutives what they could do on their own without a
huge budget or funding, and so it IS an offical movie ok...do you really think
someone with out wetas ability could do something like that?

Microsoft and Bungie are not letting anyone do the movie unless they do it 100% correct and 100% no mistakes. There are tons of mistakes in the video example the cross hair has tons of noise and its just sitting there.

Well thanks for afirming you have no idea what your talking about ok...because
if you did then you would know that Peter Jackson and his wife are the executive
producers of the Halo movie and Peter Jacksons company Weta will be
making the film...with Fox to produce it....likely release of 2009/2010.

Microsoft if 100% behind the film and now are only concered with funding
and casting as the script has been approved and already props (such as the
warthog and marine weapons see in the movie) are being made.

Also thats not a cross hair....its from the camera that they used to film that
rough cut with. because that was made by Jackson and weta to show micrsoft
what they could do. They also made a more recent halo trailer which was
show at E307

And who gives a shit if Weta has to prove anything at all. For **** sakes look at the Farking Lord of the Rings movie and tell me if they need to prove anything. I haven't read anything in ANY article that they had to prove Microsoft that they can make it.

You know why it's not the official movie? Because the movie is still in production. So I consider it a fan made movie, I don't care if Weta made it. I heard Fox licensed the rights for it. So, Fox is actually making the official movie, not Weta.
