YAY MY COMPYS NOT WORKING!

Last night it was acting really really weird. I logged on and when i tried to download a file it said i couldn't because there was no more space on my hard drive. I was like "WTF" cause 5GB doesn't just vanish unless theres a virus and Kaspersky barely lets me download its update software let alone allow me to download a virus. So i restarted it and *pop* all my memory came back. I didn't think anything of it so i put up my away message and switch user for the night.
Today i go downstairs and find that my monitor isn't working right. When i turn it on the light stays orange instead of green. So i go to shutdown my compy the manual way, hold in the start button. I do that but as soon as i push it in it shuts down, hats not good. So i try to turn it back on and when i do it beeps 3 times and just does nothing. It doesn't start up it doesn't shut down it just....does...nothing.....
PLZ tell me whatever the problem is its fixable. The only thing i care about on that compy is my manga and my music but that alone takes up about 15GB and i downloaded every file individually over the years so it would be impossible to try and replicate the process all over again. Anybody know what i should do

Uhh... I move my pc around much(lan parties etc etc) so i always gotta plug everything in and out, one time for some reason i plugged the ps/2 mouse and keyboard in the wrong sockets so my monitor did that, you sure you didn't do the same?

yo i swear i think i had the same problem as you + i had a dell
well mines is a Demension E520 i called techinal support and guess wat only way to fix it ctrl+ F11 when u start it up(format it) this was the last option i went throught like 5 procesess took like a hour before he poped the questioned do u want to format and loose all data X___X so i had to do it
toook me 5 days to fix it cause i thought i had to go to geek squad and pay $60 for a diagnostic test until i finaly got dells number
wait hold on before u format it is this the problem:
u turn it on then it says dell and blah blah blah a clicking noise comes up then it kinda restarts itself and microsoft windows never shows and your computer just keeps on restarting itself and u never get to the log in page and u can see it says failed and some other words real fast
if this is happing to you i swear same thing happen to me i thought it was silkroad client falt and i was at the caves pink hall room before pwoer earth ghost + drug if typhoon then i get a random discoenct and my computer freezes so i turn it off then back on and i see this werid error I got pwned and thats the last thing i was running + it happned to me after a inscpection which that s the last thing i downlaoded i guess ^^^^ i havent downloaded anything for a long time before this happned
it sad to say i was pisssed when it happend it was the weridest error i seen sorry to say but there no hope for the files u want bro T___T sorry to give u the bad news
and i tried calling Dell it was a bunch if run around that ended up with my warranty running out and needing a credit card before they could even help me over the phone -_-
they just asked for the name who pays for the computer and who gets the bill + the id tag from my computer with the id tag they can tell wat warranty i got so good thing i didnt get that prboelm of runing around =( but im sorry to hear your bad news

i dont think its that kind of problem of pluging its a werid problem that your computer gets cause when i got something like this it i dont do lan parties or un plug and plug stuff like my keyboards and plug them to wrong sockets

Last time my PC shut down and didn't start up, and gave me 3 beeps, meant I had to replace the PSU. On some bios' it also means the processor could be junk. If you google it I remember there being a list of different beep sequences telling what they mean.

depending on what his model is if it's a dell there might be a indicator on the back near his psu ( small lists of green, orange and red lights).

can you explain more about this cause there are some lights in the back

you'll need to look on the internet to find out more about them and what they mean, but when you attempt to fire up your pc there should be a combination of lights(or just one) and this will indicate what is wrong with your pc.
I believe they put them there to allow an easier understanding of what’s wrong instead of post beeps which can confuse people who aren’t familiar with them.
So basically note down what they do and search Google
