How many people have had this problem with there xbox360. I have just lost my 360 this morning
..... any reccomendations on what i should do?? (btw my warrenty is finnished)

Lol, never had a problem with mine and mine was a pre-order before it was released so ive had it for ages. My freind wasnt so luckly though.
He ordered his really late so he wasnt going to get it until later the next year because there were so many pre-orders BUT amazon.co.uk screwed up and were sending them out the the last people that ordered instead of the first and he got his really early. A few weeks later he had red lights everywhere. Had to send it away, didnt play it for about 2 months, lol.
Just contact microsoft, if your warrenty is gone youll probably have to pay though.

wow i was gone 10 mins and i got 14 replys, ive not tryed phoning them anyone got the number or a link to it?. and idea how much it would cost to get it repaired, oh and it wasnt due to over heating i dont think it seemed pretty cool, googled it and all i think it was an internal malfunction......

well you can ask someone who can fix it ..
your warrenty is finnished so you cant get a new one.

I heard somewhere that the red light problem with the 360 was so bad Microsoft gave a 3 year warranty to all the consoles.....maybe you should look into that

Didn't Xbox extend the warranty or something? You should be able to get yours fixed.
