Jeese, this is probably my biggest pet peeve in this forum.

If you double post, don't edit a post, DELETE IT.

See that little X next to the edit button, it's a lot faster then editing the post.

Gotta agree here.
Just click the submit button one time instead of 5 (or more) times.

I almost never double post when I do, I delete it.
I just did that for comedic purposes

Sometimes it's the lag...and if someone posts after you, you can't delete. I've only had that issue come up once and I went to the 2nd post and edited it to say "sorry, double post." Not sure if there's anything more that can be done.

But you cant delete it if someone posts after you, usually a smartass flaming you for double posting.

well can happend sometimes .. and someone can post fast before you can take it off... but LOL good point there .

I know that you can't delete a post thats replied to, but the chance that someone will post directly after you isn't a great one.
