IMo you would need some sort of theme ... which you sorta lack. Starting a general forum is pretty damn hard.

Also .. seeing as you are an admin on the site I would usggest you lose the sig. For people who might sign up the I EAT NOOBS sig is a turn off.

Calling it "My First Forum" is definitely not gonna get you members! As mentioned, think of a theme, organize it well and make sure you're on it every day.

But still, its most likely it'll fail. There are loads of forums on the internet and only a few attract enough members to stay alive. Look at the once active SRT for example, hardly any posts nowaday.

getting people to a forum is pretty tough.

sometimes takes years to get lots of regulars to post.

sometimes you can be a important person and know alot of people on the net from other forums and stuff that might help.

i am on alot of rating site forums to make me e-popular

Running a forum off of a free service (such as: http://www.forumotion.com/en/ ) is bad. People will not take you seriously and will not join.
