Actually, I think he's leaving because he feels the tone of this forum has gone from helpful and friendly to bitter and snarky. He probably doesn't want to waste his time reading all the nasty comments anymore. I imagine he'll still go to the guide and tutorial section to get good info on different euro builds, etc, but will steer clear of the GD.

He's simply making a comment about how he feels the tone of this forums has gone downhill and the response he gets is "your leaving because people were mean to you over the internet?" That response is, of course, extremely patronizing and little more than a schoolyard taunt. Basically, you are calling him "a big baby."

Which, of course, simply reinforces his opinion about the decline of these forums and the appropriateness of his leaving. Can't say that I blame him.

PS: not defending any of his posts, just sayin'

I completely understand where he's coming from, and I think I might be the next to leave. The SRF community has gone sharply downhill the last few months. People are ignorant, arrogant, and nasty little bishes to everyone. We're supposed to welcome new members to the community, not scare them off by calling them "Fcking retarded/idiot/dumbass/noob" and so on because they don't understand the rules yet.
And that little bit wasn't just about him at all. SRF has gone majorly downhill, and if Sui wasn't such a cool guy, i'd be gone already. Half of the posters on this website are driving us to the point of SRT. That's sad, and pathetic.


Anyway.
I hope you're happy with leaving, because right about now I would be.

Nah. Not everyone who gives up on these forums because of the immature attitude and negative tone is "gonna have a hard time in real life." Likewise, when confronted with rude people, I'm not sure that you "must fight." If he actually is crying, then yeah, you are probably right, he needs to have thicker skin.

But if he's just thinking that it's kind of annoying to read flame after flame after flame, with little actual content in between, I say more power to him. The signal to noise ratio here has declined dramatically. And the noise is all flaming bullshit. I'm no prude, but even I have had to bother SG with complaints about some member's "F this" and "F that" and "F you."

It's not unreasonable to get tired of that and just walk away.

this 'new generation' are mostly kids who started to realize runscape's graphics are bad and they need a new free online game where they can hang out and drool at the female characters (dirty little pervs..¬.¬) then when they can't get in the game they hang out on this forum and flame people by call them noobs...
so don't let those little kids get to you, stay, and be mature and better than them.. feel better than them and when they flame you let them know that you are above them...

its kinda funny how you know nothing about me and tell me what will happen to me in real life, and no you dont always have to fight people, i chose to walk away because it was just taking more of my time in a dumb argument

and about my join date...i read here for a long time guides and such, then slowed on the SRO and enjoyed the forum more, not like it even matters
