Well i am taking my road test tomorrow morning to get my licenses....since i will most likely be getting my licenses tomorrow (if i dont screw anything up

) my grandpa said that he is going to buy me my first car since he already bought my older cousin one so he said he will buy all the grandkids there first car.
Anyways the thing is i dont kno wat type of car i should get.....my grandpa and dad both worked/work for Chrysler so i kno that its going to be a Chrysler or dodge. My grandpa told me to look for a car that i would like and that he would get it. He said that it has be be 3000 or less tho since its my first car or watever
i like trucks but the only thing is that when im hanging with friends and driving around there wont be a lot of room in a truck as there would be in a car/jeep cherokee or watever
also i like Jeeps but i highly doubt ill find a good one for 3k or under....
So what type of car should i get?

Well take into account where you live...the kind of weather...the places you tend to travel to..etc...
Next consider expendable income...how much can you afford for repairs, insurance, gas...

well i live in Michigan so i mean the weather is crazy....
well for repairs i got my dad .....he can fix anything that goes wrong and only thing i would have to pay for would be parts if he needed new ones for it
i been looking at yahoo auto and i found a nice 1996 sebring 2 door converitable for 2500 from a dealership but i dont think i can get that cause the insurance on that would probably be high due to it being a converitable

Crazy weather = Jeep or truck
Ease of repair = Jeep (usually)
Expense of Parts = midrange, too old and its a "classic" thus more expensive, to new and its still expensive to repair...what you'd need it to know just how popular a certain model was in the general area and go with that one...the more popular the model, the higher the chance spare parts can be pulled from a junk dealer....
You live in a place that gets really friggin' cold and rainy...a convertable is not the wisest choice to make...

What do you have FOR American cars?
America cant make cars worth a shit anymore, sorry. Only thing that is still good is caddies.
BTW, get the jeep. Most "practical" out of all of them.

I think she's saying it's better to get a new car instead of an old, cheap car when you first get your license.

i got my licenses today.....i took the road test and i got 0 points taken off on the parking section.....then on the road i was doing so good that he decided that i didnt have to even go onto the highway at all which then i didnt have to get graded or watever on entering, exiting, and driving on highway.
the guy said that i did a great job and that i didnt even get any points off on the road either....
NOW i just need to find a used car for under 3000 that is actually good and has decient mileages on it
