Which one first?

Hey, I'm just about to finish Dragon Ball Z 
(haha, best show ever).
I wanna know if I should start watching Dragon Ball next (never watched it, almost surprisingly) or Dragon Ball GT. I've seen GT before, it wasn't too bad, but the fact that it's not official makes it not as good. It's cool to see into the future though, so to speak. Plus, I like how you get to follow Pan's adventures, because she's so weird :S
Dragon Ball is cool because it is official and you get to watch the past, only bad thing is I'd be watching the whole thing out of order.
Anyways, I have no idea if you guys think I'm lame now or whatever, but this topic is totally serious, because anybody who doesn't like Dragon Ball and mocks it deserves to get their ass kicked. I mean, if you just don't like it, that's fine, but if you mock it, then that's just evil.
Well, I got alittle off topic, but not too far, so tell me what to do.
