Well i just got a maple story account and i have no clue wot to do...is there someone that can help me get into the game?

But with all games, you might want to read a few Guides first. It'd take too long to explain the details of the game to you, so I'll just send you on your way with a few helpful sites:

www.hidden-street.net. Find the Guides.
www.basilmarket.com - It's like an MS eBay thing. Very useful, and you'll find the Forum extremely useful there as well. Take some note though, that 90% of the people there are spammers, and EXTREMELY immature. What can you expect, though? The average age of kids playing MS is like, 5 years less than that playing SRO, so you'll run into your fair share of idiots.
www.sleepywood.net - The Forums there are much more mature, but you won't get replies as fast, since there are less people that use that site. Has some great Guides, so you might want to check that out as well.

As far as starting out goes, go to one of the newer Servers, like Mardia, if you want the best possible start that you could have. Note that while MS is a F2P game, they do have a Cash Shop, which is the equivalent of the SRO Item Mall.
If you want, you can go to the server Khaini. I could hook you up with a good, legit Guild there that I used to be a JRM of - still keep in touch with them occasionally.

that was very long and im sure it had some key points in it and im sure i will get around to reading it...well im playing because a friend wanted a sro account and i wanted to try new games so i have him "exality" and i got a ms account. now someday i will read that. i swear

Don't think so anymore. I actually check the basilmarket site occasionally when I'm bored, and I think they said something about Nexon updating their GameGuard, and the script-kiddies are more or less non-existent now.
JM could stand to learn a thing or two from Nexon.

Actually got a L90 LEGIT DK myself, and you know how damn hard those are to get. TBH, though, it was my friends up until L69, where I brought it to the 3rd job, and spend a few months getting it up to 90. Then I quit, because it was getting insanely ridiculous. The good thing about MS is that the game doesn't revolve solely around grinding, and the quests actually are fun and entertaining to do, at times. The map is also large, but I disagree with the side-scrolling. The lack of PvP was what really got to me in the end, though.
