windows movie maker problem

okay i have these very annoying problems with windows movie maker.
1. when I reach a certain amount of video parts (I think about 20, probably more more though), my movie maker automaticly shut's itself off.
2. it works very slow. it loads an incomplete vid for 2min +. each time i add an effect i wait around 30 sec to load and another 10 to make sure it doesn't get stuck.
can anyone help me!?
