Road Trip ~ pics inside (56k warning)

Hey peoples.

Just wanted to let yall know, i will be leaving on a big road trip tomorrow. I
will be driving from Melbourne to the great barrier reef with a friend for the
coming weeks.. thats like the whole east coast of australia

i will try to visit as many internet-cafes as possible on my way there, but
basicly it means i will be afk until august 16th; when i arrive back in the
Netherlands (after 1 month australian nature and 3 days of fun in Thailand

)

ill miss yall and will keep u updated on my trip in OTL or something

lol gl on your trip... and btw isnt the great barrier reef one of those well known places for sharks? Wow you must be brave if your gonna go swimming in there lol. I hope you dont have a tragedy like the crocodile hunter. :cry:

I hope you have fun on your australian adventure. I was about to ask you why travel to australia on winter missing the european summer, but after reading you second post I see that really you are finishing your trip. BTW be carefull with the koalas, they look cute but behind that calm look a terrible predator is hided :twisted:

LOL @ your Australian wildlife stereotypes. His biggest threats are cows. My mum hit a cow once, absolutely totaled her car.

But you are in Melbourne.? thats like the worst city in Australia... its cold and it rains >.<

First part of our trip is done. Been to the Great Ocean Road; a road that
follows the coastline west of Melbourne. Was a good trip

From rain to sunshine; rainy start, but when we were on our way the
weather changed.. rainbow time

This was at the 12 apostles. These are 12 big rocks sticking out of the
ocean. Its quite a weird view

Here you see me (on the right) and my friend (Nixweerd) with the car
that we've been driving during our stay in Melbourne. Our new car is still
at the garage being fixed. We leave on our big trip as soon as that car is
roadworthy.. so probably tomorrow Funny to see that on these roads,
the signs arent in kilometers, but in the estimated time it will take you to
get from one point to the next.
