ok so alot of my friends play this game called Runescape (run escape) and they claim its better then sro. now if any of you have seen it before youl laugh. so what do you think sro or runscape?

Well the conclusion beetween sro and rso seems to be SRO!! personally i would pick sro over rso to. i jsut wish they would make worlds/channels so logging on would be easier.

I say you go away.

Runescape has better thought behind the game. I mean in a MMO your not going to be always killing something..

At least Runescape has the woodcutting, fire something (burning perhaps), cooking, blah blah blah.

But it lacks in the Gameplay/Graphics.

Who wants to watch a 2D model character attacking 2D monsters.

SRO is way better.

well i wouldnt play either does that make you runescapers happier

i played that game 4 awhile...

Its not 2D though, woodcutting and other things to do is gameplay...thats what i like about it more things to do, and the quests...love the quests. But SR has its ups too, i play both. So w/e.

I played when i was 10 years old XD I was rich and high level But then i was better that everyone so i got bored and i quit.

The worst thing about runescape was that the word noob was over used.

I remember Runescape, I used to play, until I dropped all my things because I died, then I quit...

Never tried Runescape so I have to say SRO. (even though JM has been crappy lately.)

Lol i just quit runescape last year, after I discovered sro... but I gotta say.. that game is VERY addicting. It is also very fun. I gotta say its the best MMORPG game ive ever played... the reason why alot of people hate it now is because the following:

1) GRAPHICS ARE HORRIBLE

2) TO MANY RULES>>>

3) YOU GET BANNED EASILY, CUZ NOOBS REPORT U FOR "CURSING" AT THEM.

4) THE WORD " NOOB" IS OVERUSED.. AS I SAW ONE OF U WRITE...

............AND MANY MORE REASONS

I gotta say if runescapes graphics were as good as sros... or at least 3d.. and pretty good, It would be up there with W0w... and those other top games. Oh well I dont think that will ever happen, all jagex keeps doing is updating stupid little things.. like their RULES.... Oh well.... itwas fun while it lasted.. My goal of getting "99" range... (stopped at 83, before i quit) was never completed.

Runescape: Wery poor graphics (oh, you are female, so flirting for u is ok, right?)

SRO: Graphics great for free game, lots of complain for bots, high hopes on euro patch

It's eternity since I even played Rune but the bad taste still stays in my mouth so I vote for SRO for the High Hopes

Both are Farking horrible games.

SRO, but in my opinion Runescape isn't as horrible as some people voice. I quit it after reaching lvl 106 almost three years ago and I have younger friends who still play because their machines can't support games like SRO/WoW/whatever.

Graphics aren't nearly as pretty as other games out there, but you're not going to get amazing graphics with a web based, Java scripted game like Runescape. For it's type of game, it's got good graphics and they're constantly updating and tweaking things.

And it's easily outgrown, I think. You either get tired of the repetition in each skill, or the community. Although SRO is the same repetition wise, the community is what I think keeps most people around. It did for me. Especially this forum.

My oh-so-humble opinion, Runescape is a great starter MMORPG but if you want a better community come over to SRF/SRO. [/end shameless plug]

Its not 2D though.....damn guys i need to find some pictures to show what 2D is

i agree. i love the graphics in sro. well when seeing runscape though... i never tried cos of the graphics

You cant compare these games, Runescape is a browser game. And SRO isnt.

yep,most of the players here are just being graphic whores.and pleaaasee the "sro community is better"=bullshit.
half of the sro players are botters who dont care bout others
and then another 25% are turkish who curse,flame and shout at people all the time
then from that 25 % more then 10% are little kids who want everything for themself,and flame you if you ks them once.

Runescape doesnt suck. Really good gameplay. Lots of skills to do and heaps of quests. Its just....a browser game. Like twysta said, if RS wasnt a browser game it would be better than sro.
