The title says it all, the graphics are terrible and if I wanted to chop wood that hardley looks like a tree then I might like this game. The pvp and combat is very bad. There is one thing I like about it more than sro and that's that you can actually log in and there is server hopping but other than that I give this game a

Hmm don't really hate it and personally i think people shouldn't hate it at all.

For a internet game , it OWNS, simple.
It's a good game tho i find it childish, there's more kids playing then anything.

Played it a few years ago, lvl 17 or something and i quit again.

ya the community is made up mostly of little kids lol

I've never tried it as I'm a person that's big on graphics. Just my type of games. I need ones with graphics like Silk Road or better.

If games were easier to play and more accessible than Runescape, you would just stare at the screen while an experience counter goes up.

Its popular because its free and well mades. Graphics arent great but graphics arent everything. The gameplay is fun and the quests take brain bower not kill x of these. I love the game and still play it. So much more to do than SR and its a good way to relax from all the grinding. There is a reason Runescape has more players than WoW you know.

I used to play RuneScape as a kid, when it was "in". That was when I was in 3rd - 6th grade or so.
TBH, I actually tried going back to it when I was in my transition from MS to SRO. Used to play SRO, then took a break, and went to MS. In between coming back from MS, to SRO, I played RS for like, a day.
Most retarded game ever, and I realized why I quit. You hit 10 zeroes, and then you hit a one. You have to try to chop a tree 10 times to actually chop it down. You have to try to light your little tinder box on fire twelve damn times before it actually catches on fire, not to mention the other redundant, ridiculous things that you have to do in the game.
And, what's with the Stamina thing? That, beyond anything, is what I think is the most ridiculous aspect of the game - you can only run for a certain amount of time before you have to slow down and walk. C'mon. This isn't CS:S, where people WANT realism. The stamina-aspect just gets old, real fast, real quick. Especially when the game has a pretty large map.

Not to mention the horrible graphics.

My rating for the game: 2/10, compared to SRO, which is a 7/10.

Lol CS:S isnt realistic either. But because its free and a great game. You had that much trouble at the game...did you get past lvl 10? I get a log every hit, light a fire the first time...none of those probs affect me

I agree many of the stuff you do in that game is just plain stupid and they try to make some aspects realistic but the fact that it looks so terrible kind of defeats that purpose. And Sharp I don't think Runescape has more players then WoW I would like to see proof of this cause I doubt it a lot.

When I was in 5th grade, I had a L70-something character. Forgotten everything about RS, except that I built it to be a PKer. Wore black armor, or whatever it was called... but had one of those special Rune 2H swords. Zammy or something? Forgot.

Name was hootymcboo. Got hacked by this guy called guitarman1238 or something.

I bought a lvl 68 or so Runescape account a while back for 200 k sro gold, shows how much the value of Runescape accounts are as compared to SRO accounts lol. But I don't use that char I bought I just figured I would try it out.

Probably someone just wanted gold. The games fun if you give it time, its not a complete grind fest like SR is. More interactive too.

No it's not a grind fest but the actual combat is pretty bad and sometimes looks like stick figures fighting

hehe I'm a video game freak also but I weigh 130 pounds. But I suppose that has nothing to do with this topic so nvm lol.

in the beginning when i started rs i loved it,played it a year, then heared of sro, got to lvl 7 or somethin, quit. started rs again, got to lvl 58 with an acc, got hacked by fake rs 3. started all kinda noob accs, got a good acc and got to lvl 58 again with memship. graphics started sucking, lost the magic... started new sro acc on olympus, got to lvl 22, almost 23, fuckin hell, olympus allways full! started in Alexander new Pacheon account and is now lvl 16=). but the summervacation aint good for my level so I CAN'T PLAY FOR 8 FREAKIN WEEKS!!!!!!

If it had decent graphics and you didn't have to pay to play the 30000000 members quests, then it would be badass.

I give it a B+. Whether SRO is a A-.

With euro, sro is A+ though.

And I know, euro is just way cooler. I'm not basing this off nothing, lol

The game isent bad... Id you realy hate the look of it why the hell do you make topics about it... I did play and i quited it.. But hell im not crying about how bad it is... I found it fun and it was my first mmo

And im still loging every sat to go pk-ing whit my friends......

I dont play Sro at day time... Only if i log in... I log in always at about 22 PM GMT and stay till 2 in the mornoing... Lol i know im a freak but i have friends that play all night.. And they sleep till 12 lol

ya the actual sro game is great for the most part just the crowded servers and bots are the problem but the core game is great I think
