Just saw it. It's not great, but it's good for what it is. (ie worth admission)
Not going to give any opinions til more people see it except that in most reviews they downplay the (human) acting and I actually thought it felt in place and good. TG Bay didn't include any cheesy spots either.

I'd have to re-watch it to see if I missed anything else, but the only things I didn't agree w/occurred at the end.
1) Starscream is a major char, yet they only have him talk once and hardly gets any screen time not to mention "dies" pathetically.
2) I felt both Megatron and Jazz's death were both cheap. Megatron dies in seconds, with no last words (really irked me), and Jazz is just used as a lame martyr.
That's really about it. I kept looking for things to pick at but the movie just kept impressing me.

You obviously didn't watch it then, there were only two credit scenes and they didn't add anything but comedy.

i watched the premiere.

i do agree on the deaths of megatron and jazz; they were kindof lame. for
the rest i must say it was really a movie worth watching in the cinemas.

I know a few people going tonight. I wanted to go but no ride so w/e. But i can still look forward to the game. But still a fan is a fan. Im not expecting it to be as good as the first movie.

Still just a rumor, but if bay wants to then it'll happen. You know this'll rake in the big ones.

Indeed, a lot of fans from the original G1, i was born in 90 but still remember G1

Yes, a new Transformers film has been announced for 2009 & there are high expectations that there will be a 3rd also making it a trilogy.

During the credits there are two scenes where the Witwicky parents are being interviewed on TV about "aliens". Following that, there is a brief scene of Starscream leaving Earth's atmosphere and heading for space. There is nothing after the end of the credits.

It's the beginning so I know nothing yet, and the only transformers I ever watched were the beast wars episodes so I don't know much about Transformers to begin with.

I started out with Beast wars in the 2nd grade i believe lol. Loved the storyline. How are you watching it now if your on the forums? I would like to know...

Was a great movie, i loved every bit of it. Jazz is a pimp, i love his opening line. Thought it was a really cool movie, and to be into animation and graphics it was almost jaw-dropping to watch. Should have stayed after the credits -.-

Really one of the best movies ive ever seen

I saw it last night and thought it was pretty good. laik 0mg shyuh lebuff pl0x.

I loved every part of the special effects during the fight scenes with the slow motion and also the huge smashes and crashes.
I was like a little kid, I couldn't keep the grin off my face.

This movie defiantly took me back to my younger years of enjoying huge explosions and the like, and for that I congratulate this movie.
It's always good to connect back with your inner child every so often.
