Anyone use lightscribe? I personally love it, no need to use markers on discs anymore, and it has less chance of interfering with being read on some dvd players.

For those that don't know what it is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lightscribe

Yea, I got a DVD burner with LightScribe.

It's cool. 8)

[edit] Hey, what software do you use for LightScribe. I used to use the software that came with my DVD burner, but I uninstalled it one day for some stupid reason and I can't find the CD to reinstall it.

I believe it burns onto the disk, I'm probably wrong though.

EDIT:
optical disc recording technology that utilizes specially coated recordable CD and DVD media to produce laser-etched labels.

Guess that answers your question, read the wiki article.

My computer came with sonic dvd burner. On it, is Sonic Express Labeler. It does the work well enough. Lightscribe is pretty much the same as burning a regular cd/dvd. Except you burn the label side instead of the media side. No ink needed, just the special dvd's, and the correct software.

The one I said, has some pre loaded layouts, and pictures. If you don't like the pictures, you can also upload your own. It seems nice, I'd try it if I were you.
