I wanted Kira to win...
Sucks that he died. Why did Near have to beat him? Why not L? Near sucks.

I wish Light escaped and they would have made another 100 episodes or something wahh.. sucks that its over. probably the best anime ever..

I love endings, leaves more to be desired but you know you won't get more, giving you a longer memory of it than long never-ending shows that you don't get to see the ending and forget in 2 years.

i stopped watchign when L died and they kept going wit Near and mello and shit deathnote got pretty shit after near etc came in.No big new idea of brainbattle techniques. More and more notes and more characters

I won't even argue over which Anime is better,since it all depends on each person's own preferences, Personally i like the whole story for Death Note and i think a lot of effort went in to making the script and plot-twists.

The earlier battles between Kira-kun and L were some amongst the best and original mind battles yet.

But if you like Pokemon that much then there's nothing wrong with that.

lol i as only kidding, but I still do think pokemon was the best anime.

I loved Kira
When Near and Mello started showing up Death Note was getting...too political, which is why I didn't find it fun anymore.

same, but it got a little better towards the end. The first half of death note was wicked with L and expected clever twists.

one of thebest animes ive seen in along time

finished the manga long ago...so i knew how it would end lol.
but i wish the "bad" guy won for a change

Yeah when they first met it was so awesome. I remember the scene when L was sitting behind Light-kun during a class. Just staring at him trying to make him lose his cool merely be creating a feeling of discomfort inside Light-kun.

And when Light-kun got invited to help with the Kira case,that was some enormous psychological pressure for Light-kun. But it also allowed him to be continually updated about the progress off his own possible capture.

The show was marvelous and i liked it with vigor.

the mind battle between L and Light is the most best part of the series, every each thrill part my pumps like hell. too bad light's been defeated by Near, L must've defeated light if it weren't for misa's shinigami. but at least L showd up 1 last time before Light's death

L was a beast.

Kira was a beast.

He even used Misa to satisfy his own selfish desires,and to further his career as Kira. He manipulated her in such a way that she became completely obsessed with him. Thus guaranteeing Kira's domination over yet another powerful tool. (A woman who's looks really could kill)

I think Light's intentions were good and noble at first,but then he got so mixed up in the battle over supremacy with L. Not to mention his own desire for greatness that was slowly eating away at him. That he gradually lost track and control over himself....his end was not without expectation.

It shows that humans can't cope with the powers of a God.
