Rap has sucked since the end of the 90's.

Agreed for the most part. And it's generally all the same too -_- Now there are exceptions like how some bands (i.e. Linkin Park) can rap at a song and I still wouldn't really consider it the "rap" we're talking about here.

yeah i wouldnt consider linkin park rap but yea they kinda suck but they aint that bad

lol our taste in music are exactly the opposite I hate metal/hardcore(shrudders) and love rap u hate rap and you love metal/hardcore I also despise punk and country

#1 rap juust sucks....
#2 they are about drugs,sex and money all the time
#3 rap sucks x 2

Metal can be about sex and drugs too. For instance, look at Marilyn Manson. CLEARLY he sings about drugs and sex (mainly his earlier albums). Not really the money part, but thats the reason I dislike modern rap. Its all about style, appearance and money.

Respect to the true rappers out there though.
Music should be about what (emotion) you can find in it, and being the art of some talended people, not about making money.

I dont care about music genres that much though. If the music is truely made from someones feelings and/or creativity and it sounds good its fine with me. I mean, metal is my thing. It is the genre where I feel best with, I love it. But I can listen to some good rap, psytrance, drum n bass or whatever anyday. Its all different from person to person, I dont hate other genres, I just hate certain 'artists'.

But you ask what music we listen to.. but the topic and poll are mainly about rap..

Anyway, I listen to metal.. to be precise:

Black Metal, Death Metal, Trash Metal and Grindcore (and variants).

Especially grindcore rocks my world nowdays lol

There is a difference between hardcore and emo nowdays.
Emocore is a variant on hardcore.

However, back in the early 90's there was just hardcore, and later the emo culture split off, seperated, from the hardcore scene.

Oh and FTL means for the lose / loss.

For The Lose, and what I'm saying is Hardcore and Emo are drastically different and if there is a debate as to which one it is then it's either neither or someone is confused lol.

However, I'm more of a R&B type of guy. Used to be all over rap, but now it's just not that great anymore.
