videogaming= addiction??

i was listening to the news a few minutes ago and i heard this:

thats a link to a topic on video games.
they are trying to pass video games off as an addiction like drugs and alcohal.
what do you think??

I think they hit the point in the second paragraph "which for certain kids can be as powerfully addictive as heroin"
For some people it's addictive, for others it's a way to chill out for a little with friends and have fun.
I say it depends from person to person.

Gaming can adctually become an addiction, you'd be quite surprised how many malnourished gamer nerds are out there

OMG yes...then they give us drugs for playing vid games its win win!!1 and yes i have a slight problem...ill go days w/o eating just cuz i wont get off my pc chair....is that y im grounded from the pc????
