So, i'm going to play Lineage 2 since I got some trail keys in my room. I've been looking and comparing SRO and Lineage 2 togethor, and they are really similiar. Some reason, I think Joymax tends to copy NCSoft. I don't know, but I will report back. If this game turns out to be like SRO, might aswell quit SRO and join this one. Looks a lot better.

imo, lineage2 isnt like sro. all mmorpg have their own unique thing.

i played lineage2 for a while on free servers. on some i got nuts cause the
experience and droprate were 5000x so after 2 mobs i was lvl 18 and had
over 1kk gold.
the 2x exp and droprate was fun to play. i just thought that mobs were too
far away and i got bored of walking so i quit

*since you have keys, may be that the official servers are better in those aspects.

Well I've only played lineage 2 on private servers. It's a good game. But those priv servers always get boring with super high rates and donators who dominate in pvp. The offical servers probably pwn sro though. ;o

Seems like the new update decided to screw a lot of Lineage 2 players over. *sigh* Everyones getting a Critical Error...

where are these private servers? i wanna try it XD

ive heard from a friend that plays lineage that they have a huge ass bot problem too, so if you wanna get away from them, dont expect too much improvement

Joymax and NCSoft are nothing alike, joymax = crap compared to them(and any other company on this planet).
Lineage and SRO = grindfest

i play lineage revenge nice 35x exp rate i enjoy it very much cause i only play in weekends but still lvl fast

Dang, this topic went down the spot. Well anyways, Lineage was AWESOME.

Sure it's a grind fest but you don't see bots as much in the game unlike for SRO. No one ks's you there and they were nice. I LOVE THE HDR rendering, it makes the game look 10X better. I went PVPing and it was way better then SRO. Compared to Euro Silkroad and to Lineage, Lineage wins.

I played both retail and private servers.

Retail = More realistic and serious leveling.
Private = More fun and fast leveing.

Oh and did I tell you that the servers are NEVER CROWDED? XD

Got a friend who plays that, he's got two chars at the cap LOL.

I've watched him for at least a few hours over the years now, and I've always thought that game kicked ass.

I played SRO, and I was right. Lineage kicks ass compared to most other MMO's.
