Well aren't you lucky. East coast beaches are very dull and gloomy most of the time where I am.

It's a Kodak Easyshare C230 or some shit...not the best, but def not bad.
Also I forgot, the very last pic is actually in Carmel, about 20 miles to the north of Big Sur.
I'm always taking pics, so I'll add more of Pebble Beach and of course more of Big Sur.

Really nice work!
The shots are great. I enjoyed them so much actually, i snagged 2 and made a dual monitor desktop of them
Hope you dont mind
EDIT: Is that the default setting you took them at? 800*600 @ 230dpi? Or did you resize them so it wouldnt take a month to load this page?
Reason being is once resized to 1280*1024 i notice a slight blur and was curious as to whether or not i could get the originals, if these arent them.
Thanks

Mind? Lol that's actually kinda flattering, I guess they really are nice quality pics, huh?
I don't mind heh heh..
Which one's?
BTW which one do you guys like best? My favorite is the really bright orange one where the sun is gigantic and looks kinda like an eye.
Close 2nd is the ones with my car in them.

Uh...I dunno what dpi is...but I just took the pics without changing any settings, didn't resize them when I saved and uploaded them...
But now that I think about it, the camera has many different modes like landscape, portrait, close up, bla bla bla, so certain modes might use different settings?

Here is a link to the desktop, those are the 2 pictures that i thought would be the best at work. I liked the really bright sun one also, but while looking at my monitor all day here, thought it might have gotten a bit harsh over time, lol

(didnt wanna use img tags cause i dont think people would apprecciate the super stretch a 2560*1024 image would cause

)

DPI = Dots per Inch. Basically the higher the number, the more crisp the image will be = you can blow it up real big without losing quality. With higher DPI though (and resolution), the file size increases greatly which is why most cameras default to a smaller resolution, so you can take more pictures on the flash card that comes with the camera. (usually they put a tiny card in, like 16-128mb, and you have to buy a bigger one if you want to take lots of really high quality photos.

Big Sur isn't that comparable. Santa Cruz is crackin always, there's never nothing to do there. The Catalyst club has famous groups like BTNH, Tech N9ne, Andre Nicatina, etc...
Big Sur is for the beauty and mystical, magical experience. The place gives you lots of vibes.
Also Santa Cruz can't touch Big Sur when you're talking just about beauty.
SC is fun as **** though heh heh. I go out there occasionally, do you?
EDIT: Nice Ellis.

Yeah man, I totally agree on the aspect of beauty and vibes of Big Sur, sadly I don't get to go south often.
Dude, I live in SC, love it here

I'm not saying there's no where as beautiful as Big Sur, but that there's no other place quite like Big Sur.
Especially when you meet the people who live there.
EDIT: Yeah? Maybe we should chill out sometime. You come to Big Sur and I'll guarantee you a crazy ass time.
Got lotsa friends that like to party down there tehe.
I'll let you know next time I go to the Catalyst.
