I'm posting with Safari right now. I don't like it that much.

I don't notice the different in speed. The font appears a bit more fuzzy in Safari. No spell checker = big FTL for me.

The only difference that I notice is the preloaded URL list.

After using it....not great. Bit slower than FF for me and the interface is ugly >.>

It's pretty fast, but the text is somewhat blurry.(Posting using Safari)

The Good
  • It's Apple. I love my iPod, I love iTunes, and I've heard nothing but good things about Safari.
  • It's fast! Faster than Firefox for me.
  • Automatically imports my bookmarks from FF _and_ IE. Hats off to you, sir.
  • Settings are similar to FF.

The Bad
  • Looks dauting. The brushed aluminum look just isn't as friendly looking as the bright, fresh UI of Firefox and IE.
  • I can't go to Google.com if I enter an empty text field in the search bar. I don't need a freakin' banner across my entire screen yelling that I entered nothing - I did it for a reason.
  • Not as much customizability(sp?) for my toolbars as FF.
  • The Bookmarks page takes over the entire screen. Even IE doesn't do that.
  • When you close the Bookmarks page, the webpage reloads. Just seems like a waste of resources.
  • Pre-loaded RSS feeds and Bookmarks. FF and IE do this, also, but Apple takes it way too far.

The Ugly
  • The Fonts...ew.
  • No spell check (yet)

However, I do like it overall.[/list]

For all the people going "omg this or that doesn't work right", that's why it's called a beta. Do people say "get a clue" any more?

Anyway, haven't tried it on Windows yet but I always liked it on OS X. I'll wait until it's out of beta.
