If you know a few things, please, please do share.
well what can you do already...and what is the bike model so i know how heavy and such it is
exality wrote:Blade__NZ wrote:Firstly what kind of "trick bike" are u talking about
Your options are.
A. Mountain Trials Bike (generally a 24" wheel and front disc break and sometimes have no seat at all)
^^^^^ that is a cruiser(racing bike) not a mtn bike^^^^^^

exality wrote:ok well the
Wheelie: while rolling pull up on the handle bars and lean all your weight tword the back of the bike
practice: start small, practice at diff speeds...then once you have the hang of it..try pulling the wheels up over an object like a curb.
endo (stoppie): depress the front brake and shift weight forward so the rear wheel comes off the ground
practice: (start at slow speeds so you dont go over the handle bars)practice with different ammounts of pressure on brakes and shifting more weight forward.
Extreme basics^^^
once you master these we will move on

Ok, seriously, I gotta go right after this. But I want to practice this tomorrow, so I need to know.
About the Wheelie... do you pull on the handlebars up or anything?
pull up on the handle bars and lean all your weight tword the back of the bike
Because when I try to lift the front end up, I just like, pull on it, really hard, and the bike jumps up (the front part, anyways), like... 6 inches or something. When you do a Wheelie, do you pull up on the handlebars... like, at all? Hard? What?
![]()
try different ammounts of force
And how the hell do I lean back on the bike? Do I sit down, or stand up? Rofl, such a noob, I am. Yes.
standing up on both tricks
The Endo... what the hell do you mean by the FRONT BREAK? And depress? Does that mean push?
there should be a brake on the left hand side of the hanlde bars that is the front one
depress-sqweese the brake handle
Dude, like, yeah.
FenaCorp = just needs some work
Uh huh. Start smaller, please.

Blade__NZ wrote:Yeah i admit its easier![]()
One advantage learning how to do it without though is it easier to do it in combination with other tricks
(e.g. Endo into a wheelie)

Blade__NZ wrote:Oh if your going MTN/Trick then go for a Trek for mountain or Specialized/Santa Cruz for trick.
Note: if you can afford SantaCruz you either already own 5 cars and 2 houses or you live in a carboard box just so you could afford one
SantaCruz frames = Pure sex
Edit: wow we totally hijacked this thread.

It's shit.
It's not worth it unless it's 250 bucks or more.
And I'm not kidding.
Although if you're not sure you want to bmx first, then I guess a cheaper one is fine. But you want a nice brand like Kink bike, they use nice materials for their bikes.
100 dollar bikes break on any serious bails.
