Cat vs dog

I can't believe this hasn't been made yet...

You guys like cats better or dogs better?

IMO cats are good for chillin up close and personal, like havin them on your lap or your stomach and petting/scratching. It feels nice to pet cats cos they're so soft and cuddly. And they're so funny when they play.

Dogs are good for like actually playing with, you can get down and wrestle them or play tug o war, and they'll actually back you up in a fight - with their life if need be.

Overall I think I'd have a cat over a dog. Dunno though hard choice. Cats are just so chill.

And they're cuter. Call me gay and I'll **** you up with an internet punch. Don't ask how and don't make me show you.

lol screw cats they suck i see ur point but u can do those things with a dog aswell plus dogs are just to gang ( yes i used the word and i apologize

) naa unno i've always loved dogs there just always there for u no matter what i hated it when my dog died .

I am bored actually. But that's not why I made this thread. I make these kind of threads cos they always get lots of responses. There is quite the lack of interesting, provocative threads these days.

was a good try. maybe we should make a better statement.

i love cats. i grew up with em. 2 of my cats, we have had since i was 5. its
not that i hate dogs or say that dogs "suck" just because im not a dog person.
my neighbor has several dogs and cats (i used to live on the countryside) and
the dogs were nice and fun to be around and everything, but its just not my
thing to take a pet for a walk every certain time of the day, listen to the dogs
barking at night, the smell and hairs in the house.. idk its just not really my
thing.

my cats are cute. most of our cats have been fat and dumb. they used to spend
a lot of time outside in our garden, but the last couple of years theyve just
been inside chillin out, sleepin, eating, chillin out, etc. remind me of how my
life couldve been if i were a cat.

cats actually come in handy in the winter. they like walkin heaters. if i have
cold hands or whatever, i just pickup a fat cat, put him on my hands and in
5 minuts my hands are warm again.

i just :love:

cats/kittens.

I have a cream persian and a chocolate point siamese. I like cats better.

Difference between cats and dogs is that they are for different lifestyles. If you go out a lot and do outdoor activities, dogs are for you. But if you don't have time for that and you spend a lot of time in doors, cats are defintely for you. Some feline breeds aren't meant for indoor life though such as the Abyssinian. Most cats are comfortable indoors and are better off there health-wise. Cats make great companions too.

i have both i love my cat but my dog is just my main friend...

any dog below 50 pounds doesnt count as an actual dog btw anything below is just a poor substitute.
