Yes.. It's official. Im quitting Silk Road Online. I wasnt going to make a big, "Im QUITTING now, beg me to stay" thread, but I do want everyone to know where I am going.

Think of all the things you hate about SRO.....

Crowded Servers - Granado Espada has channeled servers. Someone in your leveling space? Change to a different channel.
Stalls everywhere - GE has an auction house AND stalls, take your pick
Boring quests - GE has VERY diverse quests, personal missions, dungeons that are HUGE.
Limited map - Ge has a massive map
Updates - GE starts with a level cap of over a hundred. Its gonna take a while to need an update, but guess what? They are already planned.
No Customer Service - OMG YES, they got that. A real Community Manager too! (<3 Hrin)
No GMs - Not only do they ahve GMs in game, but when there is a problem, they fix it FAST.
Boring game play - Not just another grind fest in GE. You got three chars at once and its not as hard as it sounds. You can also recruit (via quests) NPC players and play them with your team.
Group leveling - Either way is easy, take your pic.
Great Graphics - No more mitten hands, weapons that arent touching your hand or octagon bushes. These chars change expression and blink. You can also costume them, change poses, etc.
Limited skills - You can chose from many different stances, each class has several they can specialize in. I havent seen a single skill animation recycled yet.
Bugs - I havent been DCed once, seen a single buggy anything so far. There was a slight issue with an exploit, but they cleaned that up immediately with a ten minute server inspection.
Nothing to do but look at camel ass for an hour - Crafting, questing, dungeons, etc. They have whole server war events which are already scheduled.
Not really FREE - Yes, GE is free with item mall. It isnt implemented yet, but most of the stuff is fluffy costume stuff.

This is literally everything I hated about SRO, fixed.

If anyone from JM ever reads this, I hope you realize what you are losing. Gaming companies are learning from mistakes like yours and they know what we want. Even if GE isnt perfect, its better. And it wont be the only game. More will come and ppl will leave SRO and you wont have to worry about selling stupid pigs and special ways to log in.

Oh yeah, did I mention you can log on GE on the first try?

This morning, training with the faction. Im 32 now, so leveling isnt too hard.

Hush. I hated SRO but couldnt find a better game. I hardly played.

Even Fly left for GE, so that should tell you something. I have made him try at least 25 games in the last 6 months. He wouldnt leave. One day in GE and he was hooked. lol He liked the guild and party system.

Once you get in a squad, you stay in it, even if you log off the game. You dont leave it till you are kicked or quit it. Even if you change channels. And the guild system is cool too. I can see when everyone last logged on, give them co-leadership, see their location on the map, etc...

You're making me jealous that I can't play yet.

I've actually heard good things about GE. Maybe I'll check it out when my GT runs out in a week. GL to ya though!

I played Cabal for a month and he didnt speak to me for a week because of it. LOL I played Last Chaos for a little bit, but he logged on once and wouldnt come back. He is stubborn and loyal. He also knew I was miserable cause SRO suked so bad, but I wouldnt leave him here. It took one hell of a game to get him out.

Go look at it, play to level 20. It's complicated at first, cause you got three chars and dungeons and quests and stances... It's a lot to take in and understand at first, especially cause SRO is so simplistic.

I have been looking at that game for a few weeks now. I am thinking aobut quitting SRO for it. After reading most of the guides it does seem FUN. Unlike SRO which was more of a task.

Though one thing does scare me

Though the idea that u can log in every time sounds way too good to pass up. This might be my new addiction for the year lol. I guess i will have to wait 4 days, get my pc back, dl it and see how it goes.

Sounds a bit like one of my good friends, whenever I'm in search of a new game, I HAVE to bring him along lol. I dont think he has ever stopped talking to me from joining a different game though, lol.

No offense but, thats the first thing I looked at. I rather ask people about their experience with the game, seeing as 75% of the time the specs the makers say are meant to play in the game in lowest possible res with lowest possible graphics.

hmm dunno why.. i prefer games with 1 char.. just find it strange ppl control 3 person but thats part of the game attraction.. extreme AI, just like playing rpg ps2 games...?

however, the graphics ownz and got awards for that

The graphics DO own. I hate cartoony games so that left out WOW and GW. This one is NOT cartoony.

Thanks to Passion and Areis, I got plenty of RAM. My comp was fairly new but only had 512 mb. I got 2 g now. lol

No i'm not~ I don't have someone to give me free ram! lol So if it don't work theres nothin I can do, my pc is old and slow, I just haven't tried it yet.
