As the new album of Linkin Park has been named.

Waited quite a while for it, and actually bought it yesterday :o me, whom always downloads...

And i've got to say, it hasn't let me down, i really like they're new style, bit more calm, and vocal.

Anyone listened to it allready?

agreed. Don't get me wrong the other albums were 'rocking' aswell, but this one has something about it that makes is that bit better then the rest.

The album sounds better as a whole The songs kinda 'belong' together, they give the impression they should be played together

Bleed It Out is my fav btw - but that's mainly because I like the kinda hyper-happy style...

favorites atm: Leave out all the rest, and valentine's day.

though i can appreciate bleed it out as well.

im on a ish with linkin park i do like there music but my friend went to meet them and said they dont give 2 shits about their fans

i like their new songs so far from what i heard i wont buy the album prlly copy it from a friend or some shit

in between is very beautifful indeed.

I just love th way In Between starts, really good.

hmm I just downloaded it and listened to Bleed It Out, very nice song( The whoo cheering in the beginning and end sucks balls though). But as always, the songs are too short

I'm actually not a fan of the new album, I LOVED the old two though. 8th grade for me when they first got really big (I think "Crawling" was when I first heard them), I was ALL OVER them. So this one had really high standards to live up to for me, and it just doesn't sound like Linkin Park anymore. The revamped stuff from the old albums was kinda odd mostly, but I liked the Jay-Z mixed stuff.

For me:

Hybrid Theory: 8/10
Meteora: 8/10
Collision Course: 7/10
Minutes to Midnight: 5/10

To be fair, I don't think I'd likely EVER give a 10/10 though.

Minutes to Midnight sounds a bit more like maybe Story of the Year, Lifehouse, or Brand New then LP to me for some reason.

I'd actually give this album an 8/10. Can't really compare this one with the other ones, since they went for a whole new, more political style.
