for some real help....go to a local place such as best buy or a computer store and have them help you ...there is someone here in sioux falls that will take an idea of what you want a pc for give you an estimate then build it for you...

I would rather spend some extra money on a good motherboard then on the latest top end graphic card. Also don't forget about the sound your computer will emit.

Ewww you get butt raped at Best Buy for parts.

Here is what I got from just completing my 1st build. Decide axactly what you want the computer to be able to do. Figure out your budget. Figure out if you can re-use parts like monitor to save some cash. Research what parts you want to use. DO NOT skimp on the motherboard or power supply. These are the 2 worst areas to try to save $$. I will second the pcmech.com forums. Great people and a ton of info.
Gave in to the force of rationallity. Uninstalled this bot infested game and never looked back.
Now I just play in the OTL and my old guild forum.

Yup budget has everything to do with it and of course if you want it to be the best gaming experience possible. Also what monitor are you planning to use with it if you're going for gaming?

Building computers arent hard, i started building one from scratch at 12 so. Using it now but upgrade it, about to go for a mobo and CPU next. Good luck with your build and i really really urge you to visit http://www.pcmech.com the info is great, they help you, any questions you ask they will be able to help you, love the guys there and yes its free
