Prophecies is where I do most of my PvE and I'm starting Alliance Battles as of now.

lvl 20 Ritualist: ll Lady Voodoo ll 15k kurzick (and all 15k head gear)
lvl 20 Necromancer: Elmira Sombrecoeur tormented armor, scar pattern (oldest char)
lvl 20 Elementalist: lll Snow lll 1,5k istani armor, dyed 20 second after reaching survivor 1, was planning to get fow if she get survivor 3....

Lvl 20 warrior endgame Nightfall armor, forgot the name , dyed white
Lvl 20 dervish ancient armor.
Lvl 20 assassin 1.5k armor luxon.
Lvl 20 ranger 1k armor Nightfall the one near the docks mission.
Lvl 20 monk, my favoraite, i love my monk, 15k tatoos armor dyed black.
Lvl 20 necro, really cool class to play, have 3 sets for armor, 1 blood, 1 curses and 1 Minion Master.
And some PVP characters.

Titles.
Warrior : Surviver.
Dervish the sunspear title.
assassin, non..
Ranger Sunspear title.
monk, wisdom title level 1.



Guildwars problem is that, once you finish the storyline the game is dead.
All you can do is get armor to look "Cooler" or get a title..

Get Nightfall or Prophecies first.
Factions is kind of hard for a started. nightfall is really nice, the heroes system is awsome.

i played the first guild wars and bought it on rlease day....it took me 2 weeks to get to lvl 20 and beat the whole game....then i pvped for a week then i completely quit....havnt played any of the expansions

lvl 20 cap..

dont even bother lol

What ever happened to raising the cap with expansions?

no plan to increase it except for gw where there will be an high lvl cap around 100 or no cpa at all.

gw isn't like all the other mmo it's based on a balanced pvp, take it like a fps or a sport game, you need to work as a team to suceed and gear or lvl wont change anything everyone have the same stuff and same power, only real skill, team comunication and knowledge of the game will make you win.

I'd rather pvp to get a better gear like in WoW.

lol? you get rank form hoh, wich give you emote and can get you in famous guild. if you wind Hall alot you get good item wich sell for ton and you can get some nice stuff for your toon like I do.

you get fmaous, people know your name and know your guild, you can become an idol for some. You can get real money from tournament, people watch you on gw tv.

GWs problem is that all weapons are the same, the max damage of all weapons is the same, i recall 11-22 for sword. you can add upgrades to the sword for sure like +30 hp or 20/20 whatsoever, but the 1mil gold sword is the same as the 10 gold sword or the free sword you get from the collector, and don't even get me started on FoW armor.
Not what i'm looking for in pvp, in WoW you pvp you get honor points, you can buy armor or weapons with better stats with your honor points.

I think GWs is the game for people with ego problems, the guy who likes to stand in Lions Arch and others around him saying wow cool armor. wow nice title and things like that.

I login guildwars sometimes, just to play some heroes battle, but some people ruined it now. was fun before, but now they get into the battle check your class and either fight if they are anti or leave, which leaves you without faction..

it's all about a balanced game, build and skill make you storng, not how much time u spent famring for your armor or how much money you can buy form ebay.


and about the ego problem it's so untrue. I mean in other mmo you brag cause ur strong with ur gear, in guildwars you brag cause ur a good player and smarter than the other, you don't get fmaous cause of your char, but cause of you.

honestly, GWs pvp is the best ever i played, agreed with that.
Just the rewards are lame.

it will always be your skill that earn you victory or defeat

gw isn't suppose to reward time investing in the game, so an hardcore gamer will never have advantage form the game itself over a casual player. you will have better skin, fame, cool title but no super power limited to the better. it's like in a fps, everyone start wiht the same stuff, on the same level, no uber free gun cause you have played the game for 2 years

And A-net > Blizzad as far as i see.
WoW is full with bugs also. Once the servers went down for like 2 hours. without notice.
Neve happened in Gws and there's bugs and glitchs at all as far as i know.

yea ther eis some bug sometime, one day there was a glitch with ecto people where putitng glittering dust instead and other saw it as ecto... got fixed like 20 minute after anet got the info. they are really listening to customer it's really nice, gaile grey the community staff is always speaking with people in game and on board.

but yea I've stopped playing gw cause I got bored, I had crazy stuff on all of my char and ton of money in storage (around 1mill +) no goal to reach :S and my HA rank wa snot bad but everytime I was gaining a new one I wasn't satisfied of it and wasn't proud (was always hiding it lol)

Ignorance? 15-22 is max damage for swords, hammers are 19-35, etc. In GW you can buy new skills and mods for your gear with faction points, or trade them in to add to your guild's faction pool. Faction points can be gained in or out of pvp. GW isn't about armor or gear though, anyone who tries hard enough and puts enough time into the game can get the same crap, it's about the campaigns and pvp. And if someone leaves a fight, if he was the only or last person on that team, you default as winner. You don't lose faction for that.

Yeah, it's pretty long too if you take the time to do each mission.

longer than the first? i did everything in the first one and beat it within 2 weeks and did some of the big 8 team battles for bout 2 weeks before i quit....i also did some tomb runs? or underworld runs? dont remember name but those were fun...

Yeah there's like 10 more missions than proph, I'd have to check. And literally like a thousand side quests. And you can control wurms.

all of these have primeval armor,

Titles:
maxed titles cept legendary spearmarshal and the other 50,000 point titles,

Arguably the best time you will have is in long PvP battles, especially when you know people from the other team. You kill them, /dance, and try to avoid them the rest of the game ^_^
