Mozilla Firefox

Post by Rainigul »

How many of you use it? I got it because my IE is totally screwing up, but it doesn't display alot of stuff and it cannot open up nexon.net properly.
So right now I'm using IE some more. After downloading the new version (V7) it is just like Firefox but can run everything.

The only reason I refrain from using Opera is because of FF's Spell check...

Firefox doesn' t let me login on SRF. I type in my info and tick the "login me every time" or whatever box, but then when I hit "ok" or whatever, it doesn't log me in.

Wtf is up with that?

Tools -> Options

begin screen you see the general info about cleaning up private
stuff and deleting cookies. click on "Settings..." to check or
uncheck password savers. maybe it helps.

I have been using Firefox since it was 1.0, before all the buzz and still love it.

But, I have also tried to use IE7 and Opera several times, because Firefox uses up more memory than those. I still end up going back to Firefox because it has more customization. I love the context menu, for example, you can right click on a background and select to view it (and save it if you want). You cannot do this in IE7. Opera is a little good, but it does not have as much small things like this. And Firefox has so many customizable features. Scrapbook, music player, weather, color picker, anything you can think of.
My only complain about Firefox is that is uses more memory than IE7 and Opera, sometimes triple the amount if you have a lot of tabs opened.
