This was the worst marvel movie other than the Hulk it was about 30 mins of fighting and 1 hour and 30 mins of Romance the story wasnt even close to the comic venom didnt even look scary or like the him all big ans muscluar in the comic and peter parker looked emo after the alien symbiote took over his costume.The movie was all about Mary jane i love and i want you back not spidey fighting off badies

I already know what happens in it anyway. I saw the cartoon version way back when I was little and it's almost exactly the same.

Imo the big problem was too many bad guys, so there wasn't enough in-depth fighting. But the main point of the story is that he ends up fighting himself (the black symbiote) and comes out the winner. Yeah, it was pretty weird, and a lot of plaguerized quotes, not to mention attempted symbolism, but all in all it wasn't bad.

He looked a lot better in the black suit

I've never been a fan of any of the spiderman movies.

Thats why they need Carnage, lots and lots of CARNAGE!

Thats when movies go down hill. R movies are the best, you don't see finding nemo to be the best movie ever, its usually GodFather, Scar Face, Pulp Fiction, etc.

i seen it has tought it was good...lol

main problem is this has similar undertones like the hulk did. dealing
with one inear battle. i mean the hulk was good but hes not a superhero
which is why people who had no idea about it were like "WTF"

but i liked SM3, i tought they did a good job considering how much they
had to work with...and like i said and some other people it was all about
his (Peter Parker's) inear strugle against not only the alien suit but also
his own dark self.

I liked it alot....if you go to the moives and expect to see an exact replication of the comic books then you are truely not a real comic book fan. Theres been so many revised and reintroduced at least 5 times in the course of spiderman comic history. So i'd say the moive was a melding of all the venom origin/apperance into one. And if you actually read comic books yeah theres alot of action but action without a cause or a plot will just turn into something shitty like "Batman & Robin" or "Blade 3". I enjoyed the take on the sandman but it seemed that by the end of the moive he was no closer to his goal than when he was in the begining. Venom shouldv'e kicked spidermans ass alot more...for at least 20 min lol but i enjoyed topher grace as brock. Also the use of brock as a mirrior of peter parker instead a muscle guy who's just better than him was alot more in depth. For a super hero moive i'd give it an 8/10 as a moive overall i'd give it a 7/10 still good stuff thought and worth seeing. And even though Vemon wasn't monstrosly big i don't think it was nessecary for him to be.

yah, like every person in the entire theater i was in was cracking up at many points in the movie...it was a good movie but parts of it were just ridiculous.
it wasnt near as good as one or two, but still worth seeing...if you like spiderman. i mean im a girl, and i still thought that some of the romance parts were stupid and that they should of included more fighting instead of making all the villians look like good guys...but w/e

I liked it over all....but yea it was weird. Apparently an alien substance taking over your body makes you dance like a moron in the streets, makes you enjoy eyeliner and dumb hairstyles, and also peaks your interest of jazz music. He cried too much in the movie too. And Sandman slowly floating away....yeah. Gwen was a hottie tho.

It sucks, bad.

Yeah it was pretty good but should have been a little more fighting for the amount of villains (what 3 or 4 throughout the whole movie? Two in the end at any rate), but overall a good film. Spiderman as "emo guy with long hair trying in vain to attract women on the street" was pretty weird and funny, but overall not bad.

yea i laughed at that bit.

still pissed off over venom, i mean hes only in the last 20 mins of the movie
