or on an external HDD.

i reinstall windows about once a month/2 months cause i always
end up screwing up my own laptop. dont really bother me. formatting
and installing takes about 3-4 hours then all is back to normal.

im not spending over 100 dollars lol

mine was 150 euros for 120 gig, but thats 2,5" disk.

you can easily get 300gig for that money on 3,5".

for 100 bucks you can get 200-250 gig i think

to my HDD and i am ready to format since i got all installation stuffs

Or, don't let your dad use the PC!
I'm waiting in my cold cell, when the bell begins to chime.
Reflecting on my past life and it doesn't have much time.
'Cause at 5 o'clock they take me to the Gallows pole,
The sands of time for me are running low.

Can it be that there's some sort of error.
Hard to stop the surmounting terror.
Is it really the end, not some crazy dream.

If you want to recover you stuff and you have some old hard drive around, set that as the primary drive then install a copy of the OS on that. Recover your stuff, do a switch-a-roo and get your stuff back.

Peace.
