Well, Last night i got a new CD, i ripped the CD to itunes to upload the songs to me Ipod.
When i woke up this morning, i turned in itunes and all my library gone!!
no more songs anymore, the play counts and everything gone..
I still have the songs on my pc. it's just my itunes library is screwed..
I can't start making my list again, it really took me so long to write albums/artists and every album artwork.
Now i want to upload more songs and clips to my ipod but i am scared to connect it..
I know itunes gonna delete every single song on my ipod if i connected it.
I have no idea how to get back my itunes library and i can't connect my ipod to my itunes anymore.
it's so gay that it's auto-sync.
anyone knows anyway to copy my ipod library to my pc without the risk of getting my ipod wipped..

confgure the ipod setting before you plug it in

then plug it in


go

My Computer>Ipod

here you will see no folders unless you put them there i think

anyways

go tool>options>View>unhide hidden folders


now go back and have a look in those hidden folders

(i would tell you wht folders to copy but my bro has gave the ipod cable to my neighbough to borrow so you will have to find out for yourself)

Go to "Previous iTunes Libraries" then you can use that somehow...

Sorry about your loss, but you can get it back in a few minutes if you use your previous libraries.

Where is it? Itunes options?
And Master_wong there's no hidden folders or files in itunes directory

it's encrypted on my ipod..
The files names are like XCSDEAD or whatever..

they have all your data once you open them in itunes there names are the same as the songs just the file name is different

Thats apple for you.

i would rape my ipod if it did that to me.
