has the forum started to REALLY go downhill lately, i for one have given up completely.

the forum is going the way of the sro community.


i remember when i could loan items out in game, cant do that anymore.


i remember when i could start a thread and have some good conversations... cant do that anymore.

are we really going to let the little retard children who hide behind their monitors destroy our forum and our game?

this is sad... really.

Well i understand how you feel

in the last 3 months this forums has really pumeted....i mean its not that
people dont get banned and that threads arnt deleted. Its just that it
takes too long for anything to happen so people belive that they can
get away with things.
like that 13 year old spamming stall the other day. i say either introduce
an age limit or the mods need to have the poor to ban people not
just Ryoko because hes not on that often any more.

The vibe now is definetly the flipside of what it was when i registered here. You cant enter a topic without someone flaming someone else. I have had opinions on certian topics that i have refrained from posting in because i knew that the handfull of people that always flame topics would barge in with their 'holier than thou' attitude and the thread would go to shit, then be buried and lost, or just deleted. Who wins when this happens? Just sad that with all the knowledge of the game that is here in this one community, people still cant respect others opinions.

i liked it when we got good questions on the forums, and the elite members would answer, then we would go off on some funny shit with pictures etc... but now... its a huge flame fest... people from srt came here, new scammers, spammers, and losers came...

i just dont know.


i wish i could go back to being nice to people, but i am constantly on the defense now from people who feel the need to insult me all the time for stupid things... even my post count...

meh since i quit silkroad i have nothing much better to do..well once i get a paycheck in il go out and buy a few games but this forum kills time soo im happy

yeah, even though im quite new i've noticed this forum being over run by kids and these kids have been pretty much soiling it, so it isnt just you, its everyone who has been noticing it =/

I have definitely noticed alot of new members who have anger issues : / And some who just like to spam -.-

The thing is... mods won't have more powers to make it end.. so we really can't do much other than lock/delete.

I asked admin basically answer was "too much work to put that in"

There also needs to be temporary bans.. to set users straight.. hell if it was up to me, half the forum would be on a temporary ban.

Blame morningdew. She posted links to SRF multiple times on the official forums. So, they migrated here.

Blame Ryoko for making such a damn good forum. Seriously, this is the best kept, prettiest SRO forum I've seen.

I do agree that the maturity of responses have been going downhill for the past cpl months, but at the same time so has the intelligence of the newbie posters. They don't use search, they don't learn from other posts, they ignore the rules, they post in the wrong sections, and honestly most of them deserve to be flamed for it.

Whats a solution? I don't know. You can't really have a forum without a growing community. You won't have a growing community without idiot noobs and noobish elitists. It's a vicious cycle.

all I can say is that is sooo true, I came here because I was helped on this forum a year before I registered, cause I saw this forum as good looking and has a nice community =/

The maturity level in my opinion has definitely sunk to an all time low.

For example, The Pokemon diamond thread, sure, it's targeted for younger gamers, but still, no need to spam the topic up with "Pokemon sux." Then another thread is made how dragonball is better than pokemon....seriously. -____-

I think the fault lies with only a couple users.

oh yeah, and i try to brighten things up with my lame thankyou thread, but it dies within a day...i suppose it was kind of corney

well its threads like this that are contributing to the forum going downhill. So lighten up, and dont act like you aren't part of the problem(you also aren't doing anything to help it either). Honestly, this problem has been going on for way too long.

All good things must come to an end.

i agree, flaming and childish response is in too many threads

and i think there are to many youtube threads... more than half are like "look at this!" or "can you believe this!?" and i have to say that user and ThatOneMan3424 have started a hell of alot of threads lately.

srf was better when i joined.
