lol Well it costs $13 a month but you get a month free when you buy the game. There are main jobs - white mage, black mage, red mage, warrior, monk, thief. After lvl 18 u can do a quest to have a sub job. So you can be white mage sub job black mage but ur sub job can only be half the lvl of ur main job. so lvl 30 blk mge can only hve a sub job of lvl 15 or less.
At lvl 30 you can do quests for advanced jobs: Bard, Beastmaster,Summoner,Dark Knight,Ranger,Samurai,Ninja, Paladin, Dragoon. Generally advanced jobs are used as main jobs. My tarutaru is a mage specialist because his MP and INt increase the most as he levels. =)

Final Fantasy Online FTW!
Nice character. Love those little guys....though runnin around town they get a bit too numerous for my liking...

i used to play, had a lvl 20 black mage and 10 white mage. I got bored and didnt feel like paying anymore so i quit. You can also make pretty good money by selling your char on ebay. Thats what my step-dad did. made at least 300 bucks.
