They put me in a foster home, and im going later today... and i have to go back to school, basically a big reality check.

No, i got NO warnings... they just now started "pursuing" me after like 7 months of NOT going, it seriously took them that long to figure it out..and now i have to pay the consequences...

in a couple of years you will be looking back to your life and
probably try to forget this period. i too think it was not the
right thing to do, just not going to school. not only for
yourself, but also for your parents. it may seem easy now to
just go to a foster home, since you were the one that took
life in his own hands. but in time you will realise what this
does to your parents... i cant imagine how guilty id feel.

one of my ex girlfriends has lived in a foster home,
cause she used to sneak out of the house in the
middle of the night. after she had been in that foster
home (they treated her very well there) she did feel
that she had not done the right thing and was not
doing her life any good. she talked it out with certain
people, and was allowed to move back into her moms
house. she is still there and goes to school and all,
and im sure she will not sneak out of her house anymore.

she found out a bit late that she was doing something
wrong, but its better to find out late than to never find it
out at all.

krais i wish you all the luck.. and i hope you get your
mind straight while you are in that foster home. family
will always be one of the most important parts of life.

Seriously, you guys have no idea what kind of situations or problems he's been through and you assume it's all his fault. If my parents didn't want me to go to college I probably wouldn't have gone. You guys need to stop assuming that he's lazy because you have no idea what lead up to this. Krais I hope you do go back to school. It may not be easy but you don't have to make it hard. Just study and make good friends.

Some people can't "deal" with it like everyone else. There are schools in New York where there are 5 textbooks in every class. 5 textbooks for 30 students. How do you "deal" with that?

That would not matter to me at least, but it was "his" choice, and nothing we say can change that. But know this, you wont get far in life with out a proper education....except burger king but that is another story.
