Noooooooo Dance is teh evil. There's no way to offset hits to sync with how you see them, and the default hits are NOT lined up exactly with the impact area. Not to mention the hax on that game, don't even try to tell me that being in a room with 4 other level 1 players and having 2 of them get 350+ perfects and maybe 6 goods and nothing below, EVERY... SINGLE... GAME... is legit.

With practice it's easy.

I'm able to do a lvl 9 song after considerable pratice.

I'm a musician. I have good timing. I don't want to practice destroying my good timing for Dance. I maintain my stance re: evil.

Forgot to post this earlier:

I got curious so I tried it. That's "Guitar-Rave" on hard. According to the difficulty readings, that's the hardest song at "level 13". I passed with an A on my first try. Not even close to a full combo but it was the first song I tried.

Point is, it's too gosh darn easy.

Stepmania's great. It's a lot less "clunky" and you can have 1000s of songs. Can't say I've ever tried SDO although I've heard of it.

So I tried the game, timing was perfect in the tutorials. Actually getting in the game though, the arrows relation to the marker is totally farked and messes the whole game up, hopefully they fix it. How people get all perfect on a game with it so farked up is beyond me.

I don't know why people complain so much about the timing, it seems quite easy to me.

Whether the arrows line up with the marker when you need to hit them is really irrelevant. The only thing that truly matters is if the arrows are on beat.

my hand-eye coordination only works well when there's an crosser in front of me with a thing that's gonna explode in blood when i click on my mouse. i suck in everything else, even in the fifa games .
