rofl just checked the stuff they added... elite tome (kinda nice cause I hate to beat mission to get my elite on my pve char

they reduced drop rate for solo, now oyu need to be in full gorup to have normal drop rate: killed uw farming and gold bot

wich mean my 96 ecto I was holding and wondering if I should craft fow with will worth ton

2 new stupid title for hardcore pve :banghead:

mob on speed, wich mean barely no hardmode chets famring, havent tryed but sound like

Nightfall is about working together anyway, hell i always fill my party up with the NPC

i played the first guild wars and i beat the whole game and got to the max lvl (20) after 2 weeks released.....
I then played PvP for a while with a Lightning elementlist spiker (or watever its called in guild wars) and i did the big pvp battles with like 8 different teams or something like that (dont really remember its name it was so long ago)

Anyways has the most recent guild wars gotten any better?

rofl, my smurf's guild was running a 3 ranger conjure spiker with 3 dunkuro, 1 monk second flag runner (me) and 1 blind bot first flag runner.

and we faced team flamingo (ffs) and raped them hard lol, but we got beated at vod :roll:

yea you can reach lvl 20 in one day now with faction

, the 8 party pvp was on old, old, old tomb map

it turned into a 2v2/ 2v2 with both winner fighting each others. then they removed the map. Air spike, been dead until Nightfall come out, then turned into an invoke lightning spike (elite chain lightning). and yea the game is continually changing, update on skill like every 2-3 month, changing the whole pvp metagame

and pvp map change so the goal change to keep the entertainement.

pve player usually complain cause they nerf pve farming build by nerfing pvp uber skill, but the real fun part is in high competitive pvp

oh btw just tried the hard mode, they totally killed the solo famring, item price will go up, ecto too. Money on ebay will sky rocket, good thing, so less ebayer

i have a cd key somewhere in my house... i played for a while and found it boring... maybe ill play again and give it another chance, it looks pretty cool but gets boring after 5 minutes.

played prophecies for thousands of hours...quit....

When factions came out I bought it and tried to get back into it, but it sucked hard. Last week I bought nightfall, got a dervish to 20, checked out some of the new features (really cool! something WoW should consider in its next expansion) but ended up quiting to play CS : S and going back to WoW.

That new Hard Mode ain't kidding. The worst is Prophecies campaign and it's 4-6 player missions half way thru the thing. Gives me something to work toward though, that Guardian title oughtta look nice.

Yer, the Charr axe warriors hit kinda hard with Eviscerate, and some of the other mobs can be wicked too. Still, the strategy is the same as it's always been for PvE. A monk (or two, depending on party size) you can trust, and the rest, crazy offense. Went through the Ascalon missions (4 people) with monk, war, and two SF eles. It's a little bit of a challenge trying to keep NPCs up, like Armin for the Ranik bonus, since he overextends like only a true W/Mo would do. It's a nice change that'll keep my interest for a bit, but I'll eventually go back to PvP.

Side note: jungle missions are more annoying than ever now. Now not only are they confusing as hell map-wise, everything you fight is lvl 24+. Scarabs in groups of 4-8 spamming vamp touch for 85 lifesteal gets retarded if they decide to spike one person.
