Yeah, I love Nagano Makoto. I already said it in a different thread, but when he beat the course last year, it was better than the Super Bowl.

BTW, he's actually a fisherman, which would make him closer to a pirate....hmmmm

o really? i saw it on another site which said he was a ninjitsu practisioner

but since you seem to know about his, i'd trust you

Don't know where that site got their information. He's one of the elite regular competitor (they have the competition twice a year), so they always give him a brief bio. According to said bio, he spends three hundred days a year on his fishing boat. I don't really know where he'd get the time to practice flipping out or guitar wailing.

In the show's nine year history, he's only the second person to beat the entire course. The other guy who beat the course did so years ago, and is a crab fisherman (noticing a trend here....). The course is pretty brutal - there have been three Olympic gymnasts (Paul and Morgan Hamm, and Jordan Jochev) who didn't have what it takes.
